A game, not a habit

A free game, and still 19+

Social casino games borrow the look, sound and pace of real gambling. Roast Nook Cafe is meant only for adults above the legal gambling age and is not aimed at anyone under 19. We check age twice: on the banner that welcomes you, and again with a tick you must make when you create your account.

Lines we won’t cross

• Serve real-money gambling, or advertise it.
• Put up prizes with real-world value.
• Sell café coins or slip in in-app purchases.
• Send you off to gambling operators or their affiliates.
• Lean on countdowns or streaks to pull you back in.

A word of caution, straight up

A free game can be set up to feel generous, and it refills your balance at no cost. Real-money games do neither. Doing well here tells you nothing about how you would fare with money on the line.

Signs to notice over your cup

• Staying long after the cup has gone cold.
• Feeling short-tempered once you stop.
• Using the reels to dodge a bad mood.
• Spins are nibbling at your sleep, your work or your evenings with people.
• You start searching for a version that takes real money.

You decide when the café closes

• Choose your stopping time before the first spin, the way you’d plan a coffee break.
• Spin by your own hand, with autoplay off.
• Stop for a break every so often.
• Wiping this site’s data resets the lot; if you want to stop for good, block the site in your device settings.
